This Total Solar Eclipse will be the most watched solar eclipse of all time with 32 million people living in the path of totality. The last total solar eclipse in the U.S. was in Aug of 2017. This one will be nearly twice as long, a bit darker and at Solar Maximum (more corona) as well. The next Total Solar Eclipse in the U.S. will not be until 2044.

Each Villa has a a kitchenette, a private deck and comfortable chairs to enjoy uninterrupted views of our African waterhole with the giraffes and rhinos all day long. Guests of the Villas will enjoy group-style encounters from 9:00-11:00am. Offering question and answer, educational opportunities to meet, feed and interact with all our animals.

Villas Details & Pricing:

The Twiga Villa and the Okapi Villa each offer a one-bedroom, one-bath, featuring a King bed and Queen pull-out sofa. Each villa provides accommodation for up to 4 guests.

A 4-person Villa is $10,000 for the 3 night Eclipse Experience (Sat-Tue).

The Simba Villa and Kifaru Villa each offer two bedrooms, one featuring a King bed and the other, two Queens, as well as two full bathrooms. Each two-bedroom villa provides accommodation for up to 6 guests. A 6-person Villa is $15,000 for the 3 night Eclipse Experience (Sat-Tue).

Check in is Saturday April 6, 2024 at 3pm.

The Eclipse is 1:31pm-1:36pm CT on Monday April 8, 2024

Check out is Tuesday April 9, 2024 

(Easter is the Sunday before, March 31, 2024)

Please join us at 3:30 each day (Weather permitting) on the Karibu Welcome Center Deck to offer an end of day Toast to Our Tower and watch our Giraffe Parade as the animals shift inside.

Guests must be aged 12 or older. 

No outside visitors or pets

You will be asked to sign a waiver upon your arrival
